Austin City Murals
Austin City Murals
This is a branding/identity project from one of my classes, in which we were required to build an identity for a well-known Austin site. I wanted to create an identity for Austin's murals. I decided to design a logo, website, and merchandise.
Next, I created the logo; I wanted the logo to stand out and be colorful and unique, similar to the various types of Austin murals we see. The logo features vivid orange and pink stars with the Funkydori font. I built mockups of a totebag and a billboard to demonstrate how they might appear if they were actually made.
First, I created a mood board to help me choose the style I wanted for the project. The design I picked was funky, vintage, 70s vibes with warm tones like orange, yellow, pink, and red since I believe it resonates with Austin and some of the murals displayed in the mood board.

For the website, I wanted to include all of the murals, along with a brief description of their origin and the artist who created them. To enhance the website, I generated some assets to beautify it.
